    From this machine, In command prompt please run the following commands:
    telnet 10.250.0.9 8192

    telnet 10.250.0.9 8193

    telnet 10.250.0.9 8194

    The first one should return a bunch of numbers, and the other two should show up with a flashing cursor.

    If they do not return the above, then this machine is unable to communicate to the server on the required ports.

    Ensure that no firewalls block ports 8192, 8193, 8194 TCP and UDP. [On the server and local machine]

    I would also try the following:
    telnet localhost 8192

    telnet localhost 819 3

    telnet localhost 819 4

    It should return the same, if it does not the RMS component on the local machine is not communicating correctly.

    Ensure the Message Router and Sophos agent services are started.

    Alternatively - reinstall the RMS (Remote management System) component.

    Hope this helps you troubleshoot.

    There is an article on the knowledgebase regarding servers with more than one ip address, if this applies to you - have a look at it.
