How to modify primary location username via central config..... ?

Hi,

I have the latest and greatest Sophos installed on a standalone Win2k8 server and all was working fine with it updating upto 20 pc's and macs on the local network, and the central config was ensuring/enforcing they all stayed consistant.  However after upgrading the server to become an Active Directory server the updates are failing on the clients when they attempt to go to the primary source, and subsequently they fail over and connect to the alternative source (Sophos).

When looking at the Updating Configuration section on each client, i realised the primary location username is still configured as a local account on the central server, but as the central server is now an AD DC, this account needs to change to <AD domain>\accountname.  This section is greyed out on the client which i'd expect, but i cant find where to make this change on the central server, so that next time an update takes place this can get updated acordingly....

Anyone got any thoughts?  much appreciated.

if you are using Sophos Enterprise console, please do the following:

open the console | updating policy | edit it | iot will open the primary source for the workstations, edit the username and password, click ok | re-apply the policy to the workstations.

the policy will push down to the machines with new updating credentials, once policy received, update the workstations.

If you running SBE, please open the control center:

configure updating, opens the primary source, edit the username and password, click ok,

Re-apply the policy, and update workstations.

this should apply the new credentials.

    Kind Regards
