We've recently upgraded Enterprise Console to 4.5 from 3 and pushed Endpoint Security v9 out to our terminal servers from v7.5, all in all it's working pretty good, but we are finding our end users are being hounded by Sophos pop up balloons from the systray when they log in, usually relating to On Access scanning not being enabled or if an Update has failed, this was never the case with the previous version we were running.
Is there a way to turn off all of these balloons for our users? In Enterprise Console, under 'Anti-Virus and HIPS' in the relevant policy I've turned off all of the 'Desktop Messaging' settings, and have confirmed that these settings have filtered through to the terminal servers and the end users, but it has made no difference. (I don't actually know that these settings are relevant to my problem.
Any help would be most grateful as these balloons are starting to intimdate some of our users!
