Question about SophosBHO.dll error

Hello

occasionally we are getting a IE pop-up on some Windows XP PC's running IE7  (sophos is v9.5.5)

can someone advise what this does and how we might mitigate the error, closing the browser and resting sometimes does the trick but it is a pain for these users.

    Hi,

    The BHO perfoms scanning of web content before it is rendered by IE.

    Out of interest what other BHOs are installed maybe there is a conflict on these machines?

    Can you provide a list here of other BHOs?
    Possibly disable some of the others to see if that helps?

    Are you able to update one of the machines that has reported the error to IE 8 to see if that helps?

    I guess as it's an intermittent problem, it might take a while to know what changes help.
