Problem with Sophos Enterprise Console 4.5.1 installation

I am trying to upgrade from Sophos 7.6.2 and have downloaded "sec_45_sfx.exe" (Sophos Enterprise Console).

I deleted the old Sophos Anti_Virus application and Sophos AutoUpdate and also removed the old SQL Server 2000 Sophos EM database via the Control Panel / Add Remove Programs.

So effectively, I'm starting again from scratch.

My Server is Windows 2003, and I am planning on using the Enterprise Console to protect some XP - Service Pack 3 clients.

During the installation on my Windows 2003 Server I selected "Complete Installation", then I selected the Enterprise Admins as the Group who can run Enterprise Console. So far so good.

I do not have an Internet Connection so I did not select the option to send feedback to Sophos.

At the "Ready to Install" page The "Install" button is greyed out.

The page also states : Space Required on E:\Primary Volume Path \0Kb

Space Available on E:\Primary Volume Path \0Kb

Any advice will be gratefully received.

Hello PeterT,

there's a matching article (When installing Enterprise Console 4.x the installer sticks on the 'Ready to Install' page) with a succinct solution. Dunno if it helps though :smileyhappy:

Thanks for that Christian,
I did re-run the Installer and by some random clicking managed to work out that it was a problem with space on my C: drive.
I cleared out some space and as we speak it seems to be busy working away installing the Enterprise Console.
