Endpoint Security & Control v 9.7 - EbayShortcuts cleanup

Running a virus scan identifies the EbayShortcuts adware, but does not provide an option to cleanup despite the scan being configured to cleanup Adware and PUAs.

The details of the adware when clicking the "[More...]" under details shows it resides mainly in various "#recycle" folders and "system volume information\_restore" folders on netword and external HDDs.

Windows explorer either does not display the folders shown in the details, or alternatively allow users to access the "system volume information " folder.

Every time i repeat a scan there seem ot be more listings for the components of this adware.

Anyone able to help with how I can get rid of this completely?

System information:

Microsoft Windows Home Edition; SP3

Sophos Anti-Virus 9.7.1
Release status Full
On-access status Enabled
Detection engine 3.19.1

Detection data 4.65G

Thanks

Steve
