One of our 2008r2 domain controllers has been demoted (because it was a bit confused about AD) without uninstalling the Endpoint 9 client first. Oops. Trying to uninstall Endpoint, prior to repromoting, it is complaining the account being used to uninstall isn't a member of SophosAdministrator group. The account is a member of the domain SA group and there is no local SophosAdministrator group on the demoted server. How should we uninstall Endpoint in this situation. Will it be ok if we just repromote?
