Hello,
please see "Upgrade from Console 2.0 and EM 1.3 to V4?" SEC3.0 is available on the legacy versions page (login required).

HI,
The first thing you'll need is the installers for SEC 3, SEC 4 and SEC 4.5. You can find these on the download site under the previous version section (bottom right).
I assume that SEC 2 is using MSDE SP 3 and that this was installed by SEC2 or SEC1 and that it is a SOPHOS named instance? That is worth establishing first. The following articles:
http://www.sophos.com/support/knowledgebase/article/113030.html
http://www.sophos.com/support/knowledgebase/article/113034.html
will help you identify the name of the SQL instance in use and the version of it. By default this will be SOPHOS and MSDE version SP3.
If it is, you should be able to:
1/ Run the installer of SEC3, this will continue to use MSDE and should just upgrade.
2/ You should the be able to run the installer of SEC4, this will continue to use MSDE and just upgrade.
3/ I would then download the SQL Express 2005 installer from:
http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2005/en/us/express.aspx (Note: there is a 32 and 64-bit version).
When you run the installer the default action is to create a new SQLExpress instance. You will need to replace the prepopulated text "SQLExpress" with the name of the existing MSDE instance which I assume is called SOPHOS. This will then upgrade the SOPHOS MSDE instance to SQL Express 2005. Note: THe main thing here is not to create a new SQLExpress instance but to upgrade the existing SOPHOS MSDE instance.
4/ Run the installer of SEC 4.5.
That's pretty much it.
