Queries about Network Traffic and Logs Location

Hi , I have two queries regarding Sophos Antivirus for Unix .

How much Network traffic is consumed when a Sophos Client running on AIX communicates with the Mgmt. Console .I want to know the traffic used for Policies and events and the traffic for downloading Updates .

Where are the log fiels located on Client computer esp. for AIX .Will it be in the Installation directory i.e \opt\sophos-av Or under some other directory .Does it also log to  \var\messages

    The management traffic will depend on how many policies you apply and how many scans you do, but should not be large in any case.

    Updates will spike with each monthly update, but be 10s-100s of MiB per month.

    Unix uses forwards slashes as the directory separator.

    The default installation directory is /opt/sophos-av and logs are contained in there.

    Some events are also logged to syslog, which file contains these syslog messages depends on the machine configuration.
