Problem When Install Push from Enterprise Console Fails

I installed Enterprise Console, and ran a an initial test on a couple dozen computers trying to push SAV to them.  These computers had adaware and spybot running on them.  I selected for detection of third party antivirus.  Install of SAV seemed to fail on computers running spybot.  In every case where SAV installation failed, I have now noticed these problems:

1.  Cannot lanch Windows Media Player

2.  The script engine became unregistered (thankfully I was able to fix it by re-registering it so I can run logon scripts again)

3.  Several web sites will not work in IE (but work in Firefox).

So it looks like during the failed SAV install, several registry settings for IE and media player got messed up.  Reinstallation of WMP and IE does not fix the problems.  Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?  Thanks!

    The issues you are seeing are not common so other questions need to be asked.

    1) In the enterprise console what HEX code errors are the failed computers showing you? Use the sophos site when you have a code to trouble shoot.

    2) What are the operating systems of the failed installations?

    3) What Sophos services are getting installed if any?

    4) What errors are showing in your application event viewer logs if any?

    5) What is the console and AV version you are installing?
