Endpoint clients not updating to new version 9

Hi,

I have performed the update of SEC from 7 to ver 9 and after a few problems it is now working on the server and the SUM has been getting updates.

All clients have now added themselves back to the computer list however the clients still show as only having ver 7.6.21 of the Endpoint software.

Should these update themselves to ver 9.0.5 automatically.

I have checked the subscriptions on the update manager and than is set to 9 recommended.

Last week I manually updated a few clients to ver 9 and these have updated themselves to the latest virus detection data (went from 4.60 to 4.61G), so know the updater is working but it just isn't automatically updating the current version of the endpoint software on the clients. Should this happen.

I want to get the clients on ver 9 before updating SEC to 4.5 and endpoint to 9.5
