Windows 10 system tray icon shows "Sophos Protection Disabled" even though Sophos Endpoint Status shows "On-Access Scanning: Enabled"

Hello - I recently installed Sophos Endpoint Stand-alone Antivirus on one of my Clients' notebook, which was recently upgraded to Windows 10 64-bit.

I have noticed, however, that the system tray icon shows "Sophos Protection Disabled" on the pop-up prompt even though Sophos Endpoint Status shows "On-Access Scanning: Enabled"

I also tested Sophos using the EICAR test file, and it successfully quarantined the file when I tried to run it (but only after I'd finished downloading the test file).

Can anyone offer some advice as to how to fix the pop-up message so that it correctly shows that Sophos On-Access Scanning is Enabled?
