Ip Address showing as blank on sophos console

BO Sophos Report showing for some Machine IP address as 0.0.0.0 .Even though machines are geting sophos updates.

When we check the machines on the console the ip address field is blank for few machines. what might be the problem for

this? Can you help with the solution as soon as possible.

    Hi,

    Are all these machines using wireless?  Are wired machines ok?

    Could it be that the Sophos Agent Service is starting up before the machine has an IP via DHCP?

    If you restart the Sophos Agent Service on one of these machines, wait 20 seconds, does the correct IP then show in SEC one a status messages has been sent back and the machine has an IP?

    Hi,

    Are you using IPV6 or IPV4 or combination of both?

    Do you get valid IP when you execute "ipconfig" in the command prompt of affected machine?

    Affected OS, service pack level?
