Sophos Central Endpoint: Installation Failed

I'm having serious trouble installing Sophos Central Endpoint on some of our Macs. PEASE HELP!!

Some info:

I'm the IT Manager for a 100 user network and we use Sophos Central Endpoint on our client Macs and PC (mostly Mac).

We make use of Sophos Cloud and have a Sophos UTM firewall on site.

    Please specify the Mac OS version with which you are facing the issue and also do share the install.log from a client which could help.  

    Open Spotlight search > Console > /var/log > install.log

    I'm also recieving the same issue as Richard.

    Our Mac's here at the University are all being upgraded to High Sierra 10.13.4 ( 300 or so )

     

    Starting to see same installation failed window appearing on the attempted process below.

    1) Clean install of Mac 10.13.4 with no previous versions of Sophos installed, and using the direct copy from sophos central console ( 9.7.4 )

    2) Tried the terminal version of installing using sudo :https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/120570  and changed permissions.

    All locally applied with admin permissions, no remote session as sierra and the current high sierra require manual intervention in regards to the "Allow" KEXT security feature to continue its installation. However the installation failed window is all prior to all this happenning.

    No logged entry of the hostname in sophos central console either.

     

    The other failure we've noticed is when the progress indicates that the installation is taking place but fails to complete (even when I've left it running for two days)

    Very inconsistent - but we most commonly see the "installation has failed" window.

    Can anyone possibly help?
