Mac Deployment

We recently upgraded to Sophos Cloud and are reimaging all of our Macs on campus this summer. We usually include software like Sophos in the image, but have been warned by tech support that this will not work (from our own testing it looks like the problem is that the admin console thinks they're all the same machine). Sophos only supplies instructions to image on a Windows PC. Any Mac users found a way to include this in their image or do we really have to do this all post-imaging?

  • Thanks for the reply. I did see that article and unfortunately it doesn't work for us. That article requres that the app is installed per user account. We opperate in a network home environment so every user on campus can log into any of our shared computers. It turns out that Sophos Cloud does not have good options for this at all and we will be moving away from it next year.
