Intercept X....limit 1 user?

Question

I purchased the Intercept X (1-9 user) subscription. I was under the assumption that I could install this on up to 9 devices. Sophos Central telling me I have exceeded my limit of 1 device. 
 
 Sooo.....is this subscription for one device, or 9? I installed it on two devices. Am I supposed to buy a license for every device?

 A subscription is typically considered per user, not per device. This means that if you install it on multiple devices using the same user credentials, you only need one license, even if you're using it on multiple devices; however, if you use different login credentials on each device, you would need a separate license for each device.
