Non-central Intercept X?

Sophos offers only a Central based Endpoint. 
What is your use case for not using an Central based EP? 

I just want to keep things as locally as I can. I believe it was offered up until recently. Not sending all my data to the cloud reduces the attack surface and protects our privacy.

We are not offering a on premise Endpoint for some years. SEC was the last one, without Central Console management, which was EOL years ago.

Additionally, users of Sophos Central have to use Multifactor, to ensure a protected database and system.
