Safeguard Easy responding slow

In our company we are using SG Easy on all new laptops but some of our users are complaining that the software is slow at responding to key  strokes and get "denied"

They have to typ very slowly, or wait until they see the character (star) is showing on the screen.

It doesn´t matter if the laptop is docked or undocked and when access is granted the system returns to respond normal.

Moving around in the bios is also normal so it must be the Safeguard software but we don't know what can be done about it?

Anybody else experience  the same problem or is issue known at Sophos and what we can do about it?

    Hi FCFNL,

    This is a tough one to diagnosis since it's not a common occurance. I could try to help you but I will need some information to begin with.

    1. Which version of SGE are you using? For example: 4.40.1

    2. What hardware make & model is this behavior exhibited? As well as the specs.

    3. Based on your description, it sounds like you are using PBA, but I would like to confirm that you are.

    4. Are the keystrokes slow only at PBA or both at Windows login and PBA?

    Let's start with that information and see if we can boil this issue down to the root cause.
