XG behind NAT Router

Hi, I have an ISP Router connected to the ISP (192.168.10.1), connected to a XG 106 (192.168.15.1) connected to a switch and devices (192.168.15.x).  Everything is working fine.

I have now enabled VPN on the XG, and so have to forward ports from the ISP router, to the XG, but I can't because the ISP Router will only allow me to forward ports to the same subnet (ie:  192.168.10.x).

So I changed the LAN IP of the ISP Router to 192.168.15.254, but as soon as I did that I have lost internet connectivity.

If I change it back to 192.168.10.1, I won't be able to use SSL VPN.  What am I doing wrong on the ISP Router?

To confirm current setup: ISP Router 192.168.10.1 --> XG106 192.168.15.1 --> Switch 192.168.15.10 --> Devices 192.168.15.x

  • For your ISP router, there will be two interfaces. One is connected to ISP link and another is connected to XG firewall.

    Kindly check on XG firewall from Network > Interfaces, you will see WAN interface with IP of 192.168.10.x.

    configure port forwarding on ISP router to the IP you see in WAN interface of XG firewall.

    Internet link-----WAN-(ISP router)-LAN--------------WAN-(XG)-LAN-------Switch------Internal devices
