I have an internal use case for this!

Maybe someone could help due to the fact that there is little information around:

I want to use the RED for an internal network as a guest network.

So i want to tunnel the Ethernet through the internal network to the firewall and from there into a special DMZ.

Is this possible? I've read about some kind of provisioning cloud, that's maybe a problem, right?

Regards
Frank

  • The RED must be able to reach Internet through port 3400.

But within your config you should be able to use VLAN to have a guest Network port on one off your switches

  • The RED is cool... but I'd probably just VLAN off the ports you want to use in this manner, and set up a DMZ on that VLAN.
