Using AppRiver SecureTide for e-mail filtering, only functions active within Sophos are Firewall, Intrusion Prevention, Network Visibility and Remote Access. About twice a day we receive notification from AppRiver stating the SMTP session was cut off and mail is waiting in the delivery queue The SMTP logs on the Exchange 2010 server will have lots of ' 451 4.7.0 Timeout waiting for client input' when this happens. Sometimes the situation will rectify itself, other times we have swap in another router (an old linksys) to get the mail flowing, then we can swap back the Sophos in and mail will flow fine for hours. Local rep has looked at it and can't see anything.
