Spam Filter cannot query database servers

Hey guys,

ATM all my appliances are reporting this error:

The spam filter daemon is unable to reach the database servers via HTTP. Please make sure that the device is able to send HTTP (TCP port 80) requests to the Internet. You may have to allow such traffic on upstream devices.

Since all of them are reporting it, this should be a problem at Sophos, correct?

None of my client's UTMs reported that problem today, maybe it was related with your ISP ?

It's a problem at Sophos, no action required from end user. Sophos are aware of it.

Do you know to which IP the service want to connect to?

The smtp.log doesn't say much about this.

Same issue here, multiple UTM's at different customers are affected. Trying to get Support on the phone right now.

Still same old rubbish support from sophos then

Where is the advisory at https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/b/1214.aspx - nothing there

the entry in the known issues list ? - nothing there ...

Official Announcement here to say they know? - nope

Come on Sophos - if you have an issue at your end then TELL US!

Please don't make us go reporting issues, only to find out that you already are aware of it.
