See the thread "UTM Version 9.352-6 and 9.318-5 released"

  • Yes, don't be a sucker like some of us that installed a pushed release that should have miserably failed QA testing prior to the push to UTMs.

  • this is now probably something i'd have catched @astaro.org before installing it -- i'm coming here every now and then because let's be honest -- convenient it's not (Yoda) -- too late...
  • think they dont have tested or the QA departement is in holidays...

  • Finally back online after suffering the nightmare having to re-register, something about moving userid which I thought I had done.

I have 3 devices and you can't really do much too them without receiving backend errors.
    All are on 9.352-6.

  • Hi Guys,

    Thanks to Bob.
Since the 9.3 debacle i´m really careful with installing new versions and use the wisdom of experienced Admins
"if a new patch or firmware comes up, lay it beside, wait 6 weeks, then call support or Web for issues on it"

    So i do now.

  • could it be that 9.352-6 breaks the connection between a red 50 and the utm?
It's stated as up but i can't reach any device in it and they can't reach the servers :/
  • All my RED 50 customers has no problems....that I know of, I upgraded to 9.352-6 as it came out. (Mistakenly!)

  • I had the problem with the RED device with some customers but not with 9.352. It was a general problem. Turn off and on the "redsX" Interface belonging to the RED. After that disable the RED. Wait arround 30 seconds (until the RED is offline) and turn it on again. In our case the route for the network belonging to the RED was missing on the UTM. After the mentioned steps the route was added.
  • zaphod,

If that is the case, then DONT RELEASE SOMETHING.

  • Since Firmware version: 9.352-6 while logged into Webadmin interface i receive constantly the message 'backend connection failed'. Can i roll back the previous firmware?
