I have three xg 105 that are registered but are showing as not registered in Sophos Central Firewall Manager.

I have sent a email to support 10 days ago but have not received a response. The firmware for all three devices is SFOS 16.05.6(266). Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • John, can you give us some more details. When it comes CFM it can be confusing since you might see a different status in Partner Portal and a different status in Central Partner Dashboard.

    It would help if you could share some screenshots. You can hide the serial numbers and other identifiable information in the screenshots.

    This is the screen shot for the Central Firewall Manager,the three utm are showing that Device status is Unregistered and under License Information it shows that they are Unsubscribed

    This is not occurring with our seven other firewalls that we manage

    Since this is our first occurrence of this is there a bug in the CFM

  • Interestingly, all 3 affected devices seem to be on 16.05.6 MR-6. Is there any possibility that you can upgrade / downgrade the firmware of one of the devices to check if it changes anything ?

  • We have four other XG 105 that have the same 16.05.6 firmware and they are not having any problems.

    The 3 affected devices are showing as registered in the hardware device just not on the Central Firewall Manager.
