Sophos XG Firewall Can't connect to the registration service

There is open and complete internet access. No restrictions were imposed.

Thank you for reaching out to the community, you can refer - Troubleshoot error: Can't connect to the registration service.

Resolution

• Make sure Sophos Firewall is correctly claimed on Sophos Central.
• Run fsck-on-nextboot on the device console.

If neither resolves the issue, proceed with the steps below:

1. On the Sophos Firewall CLI, go to 5. Device Management.
2. Select 3. Advanced Shell.
3. Run the command: cd /content/licensing
4. Run the command: ls
5. You will see the files lic_ csr.key and lic_csr.pem.
6. Remove both files by running the command: rm – rf
7. Once removed, try to register the Sophos Firewall again.
8. If you are still facing the issue, then please raise a technical support case.
