Adding new firewalls

Question

I am adding a new domain controller to our domain and am having trouble adding it to the authentication servers in Sophos. The server is active and working as expected and I've checked all of the same firewall settings as our old DCs. The only difference is the server OS version. Every time I try and run the test connection on the new one I get "unavailable or offline". What am I missing?

Hi open_admin Thank you for reaching out to the Sophos community team. If the configuration is fine and reviewed as per the below tech vid then next you may check access_server logs, tcpdump, PCAP, and drop packet on AD server IP to get more information during the test connection failed.

Access Server logs can be checked via the below command from the shell prompt during AD test connection along with above details.

# tail -f /log/access_server.log
