Sophos Home License - XGS

At home, I've a Sophos XGS 116 on which I'd like to install the Sophos Home License. I already wiped the SSD completely, but unfortunately I'm not able to install the Software Image on it. Every time when I try to boot from the USB-Stick, following Error Message appears:

-----
Detected Sophos XGS Physical Device.
Please get proper installation source.
timeout: can't execute '/bin/statusled-I2C': No such file or directory
press y to reboot

Does anybody know how to Install the Home License on my XGS 116?

  • I never mentioned "AMD" to be unsupported in particular. If i did, it could be a misunderstanding.

As long as the processor is X86 compatible, this works fine.

But the other problem is, you will leave out the NPU completely - NPU is not included in the software installation.

Currently there are no plans to build a new image for Software and XGS Hardware. SFOS Home is solely used for software / virtualization.
