Web Email (gmail/ymail) is blocked after blocking social media especially Facebook

Hi there, 

Can you please elaborate or share the ScreenShots what you were doing to block FaceBook. 

Or if you want to just block the facebook please create a firewall rule at the Top Select "Drop"and on Destination select the FQDN of facebook. 

Hope it works. Sometimes trying to make lil things complicated makes it difficult to deal with.

I was able to resolve it. I found found out that "Instant messaging" is blocked in my application list.
