We're using SMC (4.0.1.1) to manage our iPhones but am having problems getting new phones to register. When you go to the self service portal it gets stuck at "installing bootstrap". The screen just keeps refreshing with the dotted icon going round and round.
I've been looking at this all day but can't seem to get anywhere with it. Does anyone know how I can start to diagnose this issue? I've looked at the firewall and nothing is being blocked and the devices that are already connected still appear to be working OK.
I've inherited this server (with the issue) from a college who has moved on to work in another area of the business and don't know an awful lot about SMC but the first thing I did was upgrade it to the latest version (as advised by Sophos support according to my college). The problem was happening before the upgrade and has continued to happen (I was hoping it might somehow fix the issue).
Anyone got any thoughts?
