Sophos 5.5.1700 not possible for Samsung Galaxy S+ (9001) cause Android version 2.3.6

Hi there, first sorry for my not perfect english.

I use currently Sophos mobile v5.0.1515 on my Galaxy s+ with Android 2.3.6. Now I have in message bar always the info that there is the sophos update to 5.5.1700, what will not work cause its needed Android 4.0.3. Can I disable this message to update? Second question is: Is version 5.0.1515 still supported and will there be virus-information-updates for it? Thanks and greetings

    I will forward this request to our development team. To me this sound like a bug which I have to verify with them.

    The virus information will always be updated as this is backwards compatible and independent of the Sophos Mobile Security version.
    Once I got an information regarding the update notification I will inform you.
