SMC-App has no location permission

Hello,

 

we have a problem on multiple devices.

The SMC-App shows an compliance violation.

In details is shown that the SMC-App has no locaton permission.

After tap on "fix" there is only a notice that we should go to settings > privacy > location services.

But if we do, there is no SMC-App on the list. Other apps like camera, maps, wether etc. are there.

We are running iOS 11.2.5 / 11.2.6 and SMC-App ver. 8.0.0.85

Our SMC Server-Version is: 8.0.5 (rev 12970)

 

Can anybody help?

Same problem with SMC-App 8.0.1.132 and iOS 11.3

  • Hi,

    OK. Now i found it.

    The solution is to login with customer Name "admin".

    I always filled in our customer and as user name the "Superadmin User" named "admin".

     

    Then i've found the settings Haridoss described.

    I've set both checkboxes and now it works!

     

    Only "problem" is now to tell every user that he has to allow the location

    question in the SMC App.
