I get SBIE2220 pop up using chrome in win 8.1 and 10 (1903) Hiding does not always work as still pops up. Should I uninstall and reinstall 5.30?
I was worried activation and license might not work (has that been fixed)
thanks,
dan

Hi Dan,

Every time I open the browser, within a couple of minutes of use I get request to permit use of Admin rights
Never happen with earlier versions (before 5.30 and a couple before that)
Asking to hide, and it comes back
Thanks, following the instructions for Sandboxie problem
Be sure to provide the following information when submitting a problem report:
1- Sandboxie and Windows version (For example Sandboxie 5.30 , Windows 10 x64 bit 1809)
Both Window 8.1 64 bit and Windows 10 64 bit version 1903 Sandboxie 5.30
2 - Affected applications version (if using a browser, include any extensions as well)
Chrome and previously FireFox
3 - List any antivirus installed, and their version.
Windows Defender on both systems
4 - Steps to reproduce the issue.
Open browser and start using, I get repeated requests of SBIE 2220 to permit use of administrator privileges'
Clicking to hide, or close or copy to clipboard and it comes back. I must do that a couple of times to get it to stay away
5 - Does it occur in a new sandbox with default settings?
Have not tried new Sandbox or default settings. My sandbox is on RamDrive and fully clears on restart and when I use the terminate command
6 - Full error message and screenshots of it if applicable.
Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Dan,
That looks like Chrome trying to update inside Sandboxie (which will not work).
Please try this:
Launch Chrome outside Sandboxie and update it (if there are extensions involved update them as well).
Delete the contents of your Sandbox
Launch Chrome in the Sandbox
If the problems persist, remove any extensions and re-test. Once you find which one triggers the problem, provide more info and we'll go from there (if applicable).
Also did you check if "Drop Rights" es enabled? https://www.sandboxie.com/RestrictionsSettings#drop (If yes, disable it after performing the above listed steps, and re-try).

I think that is the answer, updated outside sandbox and so far no pop ups on both machines
thanks for your help
