Cisco VPN and anyconnect

Hi, afaik the AnyConnect VPN does not use IPSEC; it's an SSL VPN (but not compatible with OpenVPN fwiw).

Nope AnyConnect supports IPSEC and SSL VPN.

But maybe the Anyconnect Client is too proprietary to use it with the Sophos UTM. Does Sophos UTM Support IPSECv2?

The UTM uses the version of StrongSWAN with Pluto.  A vote for upgrading IPsec to the newer version would be welcomed by many: Upgrade to modern version of StrongSWAN which uses charon instead of pluto.

What did the IPsec log in the UTM show when you tried the AnyConnect Client?  Would you post pictures of the Anyconnect configuration?

On my Sophos UTM Cisco VPN Log I see the following:

In the Anyconnect log shows me only device can't connect...

Cute - according to the link Keamas provides above, Cisco makes it a breach of contract if you use their AnyConnect client with a non-Cisco VPN server.

There's no point in pursuing this thread any further, but, just for the record, when posting an IPsec log, turn debug off and show approximately 60 lines representing a single connection attempt.
