Trying to upgrade SEC 5.2.2 to 5.5, but fails with error 1603

On a Windows server (SBS2008). Sophos alert saying we needed to download and upgrade to SEC 5.5.

Logs show an Error 1603 on Server64msi

Not sure how to attach the logs here.

Any ideas?

  • Hi Christian

OK. I cannot find a log for the database installation, but the article does say to look in the Server64msi log and search for a return value of "3".

In that log, I found this (CLIENTUILEVEL ?):

I will admit, it does not mean a lot to me!

  • OK!!

I cracked it. I ran it again with verbose logging.

Thanks to that I saw a "typo" in the domain name!!

    Thanks for all your help.
