Edge browser being blocked after Windows 10 update 1809

Is anyone at Sophos working on fixing the issue of the Sophos Endpoint Protection client blocking the Edge browser from access any sites after the the Windows 10 1809 update is applied?

 

Microsoft is pointing the finger at Sophos and says it's their issue to fix.

 

I can get everything to work if I disable Network Threat Protection on the users client app.  But I really don't want to do that fro all my users.

 

I was hoping that Sophos would address this issue but it's been 3 days and no fix.

    We are seeing other reports for this today, and have alerted our management team, as well as the developers. We do not have any official notifications for it, but I recommend to file a case with Support so that we can continue investigating. 

    Please send me a PM with the case number once you have received it. 

    Aside from using a different browser, you could try the following (however NOT recommended): turn off Web Control or Web intelligence. (Again, we do not recommend turning off features, especially when you can use another browser for the time being). 

    We will post any new information as it becomes available.
