Sophos Endpoint Mac Installation Failed

I have a new Macbook with monterey that we cannot install the Sophos Endpoint client.

The only error we have is Installtion Failed.

This is the 1st time I have seen this error on a Macbook, we normally have no issues

Error: "sophos endpoint installation failed contact your computer system administrator or sophos technical support for further asistance"

I have tried the install on a couple of networks and had same error

Same issue after factory resetting the macbook.

I have been dealing with the same issue for the last few days and have found the following to work:

Restart into Recovery Mode (CMD+R)

navigate to Utilities > Terminal

disable System Integrity Protection using $ csrutil disable

restart into the user account

install the endpoint

restart into Recovery Mode, Terminal

enable SIP using $ csrutil enable

Hi, Sophos support came back to me and suggested this which worked for me:

After downloading the Sophos Central installer, extract the .zip to the user home directory (/Users/<username>/) then run the installer .app from this new location.

I did try to copy it to the documents folder but that also failed.
