I am unable to download certain files from the Internet in some situations with the EAP client version as the Sophos warning about the filetype is failing to be displayed. This prevents you from being able to start actual download. An example of where this occurs is when trying to join a Zoom meeting and download the Zoom client. Clicking "download now" fails to download the installer, but you do see the entry in Sophos Central indicating that it tried to warn about the filetype.
'sophos.zoom.us/.../Zoom_launcher.exe' warned due to filetype 'Windows Executable (exe)'
This is not an issue in the current GA version of Sophos, and I have confirmed is related to the Internet realtime protection settings in the Sophos client. It is not a general problem and most downloads will exhibit the correct behaviour where Sophos will prompt. Has anyone else seen similar behaviour in the EAP client?
