Sophos Free on Mac - doesn't scan

Question

Hi, while Sophos free does pop up messages about threats found, say in emails or in files, the actual process of clicking the scan button has absolutely no effect. Here is a screen shot after TEN minutes of scanning. Surely this is not right, I would expect some progress. MAC OS = High Sierra.

Hi Philip, 
 We have identified this issue with the product (Non-premium version of Sophos Home). This issue will be addressed in the next release. You can try reinstalling the client and perform a full scan.
