Where can I find the errors that were detected and the diagnose log?

HI,

I just installed Sophos Antivirus for Linux in my home computer, and did a scan that found some errors.

Where can I find a description of said errors?

Also, I issued the command "/opt/Sophos-av/bin/savdstatus –diagnose" and I expected that it would create a diagnose.log file, as explained on this page: https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/128014.

But I can't seem to find it. At least not where the page says it should be. I did a search for 'diagnose.log' on my computer and it turned out empty.

Can the file have another name?

Would you please suggest whether there is any log file at the path /opt/sophos-av/log/?

sophosav

I couldn't find information regarding errors in any of them.

Hi Miguel Caldas

Sophos Anti-Virus logs details of scanning activity in the Sophos Anti-Virus log. In addition, virus and error events are logged in the Sophos Anti-Virus log. Could you please check under scan.log and sophosav?
