  • If it's a fresh install, make sure it has completed a full update before worrying about whether Talpa is loading.

     

    It will need to update to get a Talpa Binary Pack for your kernel (since we publish Talpa Binary Packs for CentOS 7).

     

    If you are running a non-standard kernel or a very new standard kernel, you may need to compile Talpa locally, in which case you will need a Kernel module build environment - gcc, make and kernel headers.
