HI
How Can I update my installation? Do I need reinstall it?
You need to download updated installer on your machine and then reinstall the Sophos as new packs are with the latest downloader.

When you install, and select the free option, SAV will be automatically configured for updating.
It should update every hour.
The installation package will not support your kernel without doing an update.
If it's a fresh install, make sure it has completed a full update before worrying about whether Talpa is loading.
It will need to update to get a Talpa Binary Pack for your kernel (since we publish Talpa Binary Packs for CentOS 7).
If you are running a non-standard kernel or a very new standard kernel, you may need to compile Talpa locally, in which case you will need a Kernel module build environment - gcc, make and kernel headers.
