  • Hi Azwan,

    a quick hint: we were facing a BSoD (PAGE_FAULT_BEYOND_END_OF_ALLOCATION) on machines with SafeGuard Enterprise (Data Exchange, or File Share module) version 6.00.0 and Trend Micro 10.3 on HP Folios.

    This was analyzed by Development and a fix for this BSoD is available in SafeGuard Enterprise version 6.00.1.

  • It seems that article doesn't exist. I got to this page because I'm experiencing an identical error, but I do not have trend micro on my system. I run into it typically when debugging software using Visual Studio.

    Is the hotfix still relevant and available?

  • Hi,

    the article is no longer externally available as the issue is almost two years old and had been fixed in the meantime. To summarize it;

    "Issue

    When running memory intensive applications on Windows Vista or Windows 7 64-bit endpoints, that are protected with a SafeGuard Enterprise Client which includes a file-based encryption module (i.e. DataExchange, FileShare, CloudStorage), sporadically a BSoD with the following stop code occurs:

    0x00000050 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50)"

    - The issue is fixed with the release of SafeGuard Enterprise 6.10 (or 7.0)

    Best Regards,

    ChrisD
