AP55 not recognized

Hi guys,

I got a major problem with my AP55

first a short environment overview:

Our UTM 220 (v 9.404-5) is direcly connected to the core switch using several vlans in a two NIC LAG. From this core switch we're using LWL Trunks to serve 5 other Gigabit PoE Switches.

at the moment there are 4 AP30 and 2 AP10 in use, withour any problems. I bought a new AP55 for the new building that is also connected over an 4 NIC LWL Trunk.

If I use one of these AP30 on this switch, everything works fine. but the AP55 won't connect.

I've tried to route the strage IP 1.2.3.4 and configured our DHCP server to use the option 234.. without success. The AP55 tries to start.. wait about 10 seconds and going to reboot. here's the console Log:

it is not possible to use a static IP or something else. the switch port, the AP is connected to, is always down. I also tried several switches an different port or VLANs...

So that's it..

any ideas?! :D

btw.: this is de second AP55.. the first one has been replaced by Sophos. but the new one shows the same fault.

regards

OK, I'll create a new RMA and hope that the next AP will works as designed. try to calm my customer down by showing him this conversation. :-)

btw: my wireless log is like empty... you see only entries from connecting clients. nothing else
