Staff Wireless and access to internal resources

Running the latest UTM on a Hyper V with no VLANS and a fairly simple setup.

We have an internal network running in transparnet filtering mode with a Wireless network bridged to it.  This works well except for the constant need to authenticate on the wireless devices. So I am looking at setting up a Staff Wireless network on a seperate zone so that I can apply a single base filtering policy.  So I have set up the wireless ccordinbg to Next Steps for Separate Zone Networks in the manual.  This also works fine but they cannot access internal resources.  I would like then to be able to access some internal resources such as the intranet and other content that is only accessible internally.

Is this doable?

  • I got it working.. I believe they've made bug fixes so it didn't take as much work as I've read on other threads.  Basically, I set Ethernet to Ethernet Bridge and checked the box for both the Ethernet and Wireless interfaces.  Then, I needed to allow NetBIOS via the firewall internally between the 2 interfaces and whatever other ports that showed up on the log as being dropped on the intranet.
