AP30 + POE compatible switch

I'm about to pull the trigger on purchasing 2 AP30s to interface with out SG210 UTM.

From the specs I can see that the AP30s are POE 802.3af compliant - does this mean (I don't have much experience in this area) that any POE switch that is also 802.3af compliant will suffice to power the APs?

AFAIK yes, but switches have ratings for how much total power they can supply; make sure it's enough for both APs.

Thanks Barry.

Yes, I will only have 2 AP30s and from what I can gather with 802.3af this is a max of 15.4w per port. The switch will only be small (5 ports) providing 60w, so it should be enough.
