Multiple PSKs for a SSID?

Hello:

I have an application that is "half way" between a hotspot and a single PSK network.

The ideal solution would be to be able to assign a number of PSKs to a single wireless network.

The concept is a number of contractors need full access to the wireless for an indefinite period of time. However, when one is finished a contract, they would like to remove his key without changing the keys for everyone. (They could then add a new key for a new contractor)

(I think this is termed a "Private Pre Shared Key")

Is there anyway to create a list of PSKs that would be accepted?

(One workaround might be to create multiple hidden SSIDs, one for each contractor but this is a bit too "messy".)

  • You might want to work with the Hotspot feature and a separate WLAN for your contractors.

Another solution would be WPA Enterprise with Radius authentication, but that means you would have to run a separate Radius server.

    • UTM: 2 vCPUs, 2GB RAM, 50GB vHDD, 2 vNICs on vServer (KVM) | UTM 9.7 (Home License) with: Email Protection, Webserver Protection, RED-Tunnel (server)

Good idea! I guess a small Radius server on a Raspberry Pi may work.

Is there any way to use built in UTM user authentication?
