[8.102] Strange outgoing traffic from AP10s to 1.2.3.4 through 2712 port

Hello,
I have 5 ap10. From all of them I see strange outgoing traffic TO 1.2.3.4 ip address (it is a real ip not just an invented one) through 2712 destination port.

What is it?!? This port is NOT opened by my packet filter rules... In some situation the outgoing traffic is high.

  • Isn't that the port+address the RED uses to do its magic?

Correct. This is used to setup the control connection between the AP and ASG. Port 2712 is then used to tunnel frames from the AP to the ASG using the RED protocol.
