Garmin Phenix 6s watch can't use wifi

I'm having a curious problem with the Garmin Phenix 6s watch.

1. It connects to the network
2. It gets an association per the wireless log:

2020:10:28-17:29:40 P110012KQP8G77A hostapd: ath001: STA b4:c2:6a:27:e7:d0 IEEE 802.11: associated

3. Sends a DNS request to 1.1.1.1 per the logs
4. Nothing else...
5. The wireless log shows a dissociation a few minutes later.

I can find nothing in the Web logs, though I've put it in it's own profile with a transparent setting

The watch says it's can't find a Wireless Network, though clearly it can and has.
There doesn't seem to be any web traffic, though why is a mystery.

Any thoughts?

    Hi ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

Are you able to see the watch get's the IP address? If yes, when you try to access the internet, please take a packet capture on the watch IP address and check the packetfilter logs.

If possible, could you please share the wireless network configuration screenshots?

    Thanks,

  • Hi. do you have "fast transitioning" enabled under the wifi setup?
