SSL Certificate error Outlook 2013

We are starting to get Certificate alerts in outlook for users that are accessing office 365 or google calendar directly i Outlook 2016/2013.

Under Web Protection - Web Filtering - HTTPS we have  URL filtering only marked.

Any suggestions on how to remove these alerts since we dont want to distribute a Sophos Certificate.

  • Hi,

this certificate looks like it's from the Web-Filter (Netscape Comment: Generated by...)

Go in WebAdmin to Web Protection --> Filtering Options --> HTTPS CAs and download the Signing CA Certificat.

Import this for test on your local computer to the computers "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" and check if the Popup still persists.

If it's gone (should be...) create a GPO on your Domain-Controller and push it to your clients (and of course "not exportable").

    Regards,

    Thorsten

  • We don't want to import the UTM 9 CA Certificate.

  • Hi Hans,

If URL filtering is marked then you shouldn't face the certificate error. I guess that you have another profile which has Decrypt and Scan selected for the secure traffic. Show me a picture from the Web Filter profile page. Verify if any profile has the De-crypt option selected.

    Thanks
