smtp notifications

We have a new setup and we want SMTP notifications to some of the admins of the system. I have yet to find out how to do this. I have gone to the notifications section but if I put in the F5 ip address for smtp.xxx.com we will receive nothing. Am I missing something in our setup process. I have reviewed the documentation but I cannot seem to find what I am looking for.

Hi Robert,

Show us a picture of your configuration. Also, can you elaborate your requirement again as I was not able to understand it. Are you trying to send email on particular 5 IP addresses ?

It sounds like you're configuring a Smart Host on the 'Advanced' tab of 'Notifications'. Is that the case? Do you have an internal mail server? Is SMTP blocked for you by your ISP?
